UMAMI’s quality system exists for one reason: to ensure that certified circular origin never introduces a single compromise in material performance, traceability, or process control. Circular origin changes nothing about what you can demand from the material – and what we guarantee.

MATERIAL CERTIFICATION.  Every alloy batch ships with full material certificates per EN 10204 Type 3.1 – chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment records. Independently tested. Independently verified. Identical documentation to what you receive from any primary aluminium supplier today. No gaps. No asterisks.

BATCH-LEVEL TRACEABILITY. Every component traces back to: identified waste source, smelting batch, alloy chip lot, casting parameters, processing parameters, quality test results. Full chain of custody from post-consumer collection to your receiving dock. If a question arises in five years, the answer exists in the system.

PROCESS CONTROL. Statistical Process Control (SPC) runs across every hub. Critical-to-quality dimensions monitored in real-time. Control limits set tighter than industry standard. Deviations trigger automatic hold – no operator override possible. First Article Inspection (FAI) on every new production run. Ongoing Cp/Cpk documentation available upon request.

HUB CERTIFICATION. Every UMAMI hub partner maintains: ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management). Hub-specific quality plans developed for each product. Annual audits – internal and third-party. Non-conformance triggers immediate containment, root cause analysis (8D methodology), and corrective action with verification.

CONSISTENCY ACROSS THE NETWORK. The Swarm Intelligence system monitors quality patterns across all hubs. If one hub achieves superior results – the insight propagates. If one hub shows drift – the system flags it before it reaches your threshold. Network-wide quality is not the average of its parts. It is the best of its parts, shared continuously.
